Frequently asked questions
When can we check in and out?
Check-in from 4 pm and check-out by 11 am. Arrival information is sent before your stay.
How do we get into the apartment?
Check-in is self-service with a smart lock. Your code and arrival information are sent before your stay, so you can arrive whenever suits you after 4 pm.
Who do we contact if something comes up during our stay?
Our partner Hemavan Holiday offers 24/7 on-call support throughout your stay. Contact details are in your arrival information.
Is there an age limit?
Yes. At least one guest must be 25 or older, take responsibility for the booking and stay at the apartment throughout the visit – checking in on behalf of others is not enough. That way guests and neighbours alike can enjoy a calm house.
How close are the slopes and lifts?
The house sits right on Centrumbacken – ski-in/ski-out. Click into your skis outside the door and ski all the way home in the afternoon. Högfjällshotellet is 100 metres away.
How do we get there without a car?
Hemavan Tärnaby Airport is about 2 km from the house, and regional buses stop a short walk away. Most of the village is within walking distance.
How does payment work?
Booking and payment are handled by our booking partner. Payment terms and cancellation policy are shown clearly before you confirm.
Are cleaning, bed linen and towels included?
Departure cleaning is included in Storfjället and Artfjället. Bed linen and towels can be added for a fee in all apartments, as can cleaning in Jofjället.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, all three apartments have Wi-Fi.
Is there a sauna?
Yes. Storfjället has a sauna with showers and a relaxation area, and Artfjället has its own private sauna.
Can we bring pets?
Pets are welcome in Jofjället. Pets are not allowed in Storfjället or Artfjället.
Can Storfjället and Jofjället be rented together?
Yes. The apartments are linked by an internal door and sleep 21 guests together – perfect for two families or a larger group of friends.
Can we rent several apartments or the whole house?
Absolutely. Email info@hemavanlodge.se with your dates and number of guests and we’ll put together a combined offer.
Is there parking and EV charging?
Yes, there is parking at the house and several EV chargers.
Is smoking allowed?
No, all apartments are non-smoking.
